Infused tres leches


Can be infused via the sugar or oil or both if you’re feeling brave!

1 1/2 cup sugar

2 1/4 cup flour

1/2 tsp salt

3 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 cup sour cream or vanilla pudding or Greek yogurt

1/2 cup infused oil

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 eggs 2 whites

1 1/4 cup milk


Bake in greased pan at 290° for 60-90 minutes or until edges start to shrink away from pan and it starts to brown lightly.

Chill and set on plastic wrap, wash your pan as you will be soaking the cake in it. Mix equal parts sweetened condensed milk, cream and milk I like using 1/3 cup for each. Use a fork to puncture your cake evenly for soak, once it’s at room temperature you can soak.


Frosting

2 cups heavy cream

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

whip until stiff peaks form when pulling whisk out, decorate with piping bag or flat spatula. Pictured is a tres leches Christmas order with koko nuggz, rice paper money and a fondant gun.
